The Roaring 20's

I don't know if it's the clothes, the music, the sepia colored pictures or black and white silent films that make me want to live in the 1920's right now, but there is something I find fascinating about this decade. The economy was thriving like never before and people seemed to really be living it up in ways that seem better than what we're used to today. I was watching some silent films early last evening, and then had the sudden urge around midnight to someday learn the Charleston, like how they danced in It's a Wonderful Life. That sent me into a twenties kick, and now I'm looking up videos and ads and fashions of that time. I thought I'd share a few here:

Since we recently learned about Banksy in Contemporary, I thought I'd post some of Boxi's stuff too. He mostly works in Berlin, but was schooled in London. He hand-cuts life size stencils in multiple layers to make an image. He also works on canvas as well as public walls. He reminds me of Banksy a little.
